Home About Us Services Clients Payment Contact

Our business began in 1955 when collections were done on index cards. Names, addresses and phone numbers along with details of conversations with debtors were noted on these cards. Accounts were received by CJA staff members going to our clients’ offices and copying bills that were overdue. Everything was handwritten or typed. Our staff depended on each other to get the job done. Then CJA became one of the first collection agencies in the industry to computerize its work. Today, our facility is equipped with the latest technology in telephone systems, computer hardware, automatic dialer, collection software and skip-tracing techniques.

President Melanie Frankola joined Central Jersey Adjuster Corp as Operations Manager in 2001. After becoming fluent in the day-to-day operations of the business, Melanie purchased the company in 2007. Melanie was responsible for the transition of new software at CJA, the implementation of HIPAA compliance and security programs, and is on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Association of Collection Agencies.

In 2009, Ron Curry began serving as Vice President bringing over 20 years of expertise in healthcare, sales and insurance. Ron has implemented further modernization including web marketing and online processing. His sales and marketing strategies have helped to increase CJA production by over 50%.
